Graham Cunningham Platner is an American political candidate, oyster farmer, and Marine Corps veteran. Born in Blue Hill, Maine, he attended John Bapst Memorial High School. Platner was the Democratic nominee for the 2026 U.S. Senate election in Maine, challenging incumbent Republican Susan Collins until he ended his campaign in July. He describes himself as a combat veteran (Marines and Army), a friend of the working Mainer, and a foe of the oligarchy.
