He began releasing music on SoundCloud in 2018 under the alias suburbancerberus, initially creating mixes of other artists. He gained widespread attention in 2024 with his viral mixtape Valedictorian. His 2023 EP, Empty Suit, showcased his evolving style. Ian is known for his trap songs featuring woozy synths and Auto-Tuned delivery. He is signed to Bu Vision and Columbia Records, and is based in Dallas, Texas.
