Palmer Freeman Luckey is an American entrepreneur and inventor who founded Oculus VR and designed the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset at age 16. Inspired by Star Trek and The Matrix, Luckey built the first Oculus Rift in his parents' garage and posted designs online. The headset is credited with reviving the virtual reality industry. Luckey is also the founder of Anduril Industries, a defense technology company that combines AI with hardware advancements. He owns the world's largest video game collection, stored in a decommissioned nuclear missile silo.
