Thomas Teye Partey is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for La Liga club Villarreal and the Ghana national team. Born on June 13, 1993, in Odumase Krobo, Ghana, he began his career at local club Odometah before moving to Spain to join Atlético Madrid's youth system. Partey made his senior debut for Atlético in 2015 and later had a successful stint at Arsenal in the English Premier League.
